RGV Equipment Application conductor systems precautions

11 Feb.,2025

When RGV equipment (also known as rail-guided vehicles or unmanned transport vehicles) uses conductor systems, the following matters need to be noted to ensure safe and efficient operation:

1. Selection of conductor systems:

Select the appropriate conductor systems type and specification according to the running track, speed, quantity, and power of the RGV.

The conductor material, shell configuration, length, and hanger of the conductor systems need to meet the actual application requirements.

2. Installation and fixation:

Before installing the conductor systems, ensure that the bracket is fixed in accordance with the predetermined installation form and adjust it according to the hanging spacing of the conductor systems. The conductor systems should be hung on the bracket and kept stable to avoid movement or shaking during operation. When installing the curved conductor systems, the installation distance of the current collector should be shortened accordingly. The specific size is determined according to the site conditions.

3. Maintenance and inspection:

Regularly check whether the connection of the conductor systems is loose, ensure that the entire line is tightly connected, keep the surface of the conductor systems dry and clean, and avoid dust, oil, and other impurities that affect its conductive properties. If the conductor system is found to be damaged or aged, it should be replaced in time to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.

4. Precautions for use:

When using RGV equipment, avoid collision between the conductor systems and other live parts or hard surfaces to prevent short circuits or damage to the equipment. Do not cover the conductor systems with anything to avoid affecting their heat dissipation or causing safety hazards. Before touching the conductor systems, make sure your hands are dry and do not use metal objects to directly touch the conductor systems, especially in high-voltage environments. Insulating gloves must be worn.

5.Safety protection:

Set up safety signs at the installation and use locations of the conductor systems to remind people to pay attention to safety. If the power supply load of the RGV equipment is large or the current is too large, voltage protection equipment such as Neutral wire and protective gaps should be installed at the location where the conductor systems are used to prevent safety accidents caused by excessive voltage.

When using conductor systems outdoors or indoors where people gather, strict protective measures should be taken to prevent safety accidents caused by damage to the surface of the conductor systems or leakage at the interface.

6.Use in high temperature environment:

When using conductor systems in high-temperature environments, ensure that the temperature of the equipment does not exceed the maximum allowable temperature to prevent short circuits, fires, and other dangers to the equipment.
